Updated: June 10, 2014

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

This topic explains how to change a tender declaration after you have entered opening or closing amounts on a register. For example, a register’s opening amounts may have been entered incorrectly.

  1. Click Retail essentials > Financials > Open statements.

  2. In the Open statements list, open the statement that contains the tender declaration that you want to change.

  3. In the Statements form, on the Lines FastTab, select the register whose tender declaration you want to change, and then click Cash declaration.

  4. In the Cash declaration form, select a Coin or Note in the Type list.

The denomination of the coin or note is displayed in the Amount in transaction currency field.

  5. In the Quantity field, enter the new amount of coins or notes.

  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each coin or note whose quantity you want to change.

The results of your changes appear in the Total field.

  7. When you’re finished making changes, click Close.

You can view the tender declaration transactions that are associated with the registers on a statement. You can also view payment transactions, banked tender transactions (bank drop transactions), and safe tender transactions (safe drop transactions).

  1. Click Retail essentials > Financials > Open statements.

  2. In the Open statements list, open the statement that contains the transactions that you want to view.

  3. In the Statements form, on the Lines FastTab, select the register whose transaction you want to view.

  4. Click Transactions, and then click the type of transactions that you want to view.
