By default, Windows Integrated Authentication (WIA) is enabled in Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) in Windows Server 2012 R2. WIA is used for authentication requests that occur within the organization’s internal network (intranet) for any application that uses a browser for its authentication.

WIA is not supported for Microsoft Dynamics CRM for phones running on Windows Phone 8.1. If you have deployed Microsoft Dynamics CRM (on-premises) with Internet-facing deployment (IFD), you will need to run a Windows PowerShell script on your AD FS server to fall back to forms-based authentication for CRM for phones on Windows Phone 8.1.
