Why do I need to update or upgrade my domain name service?

You may need to update or upgrade your domain name service if you purchased a domain name, but did not purchase a certificate. You must have a certificate for your domain name from your domain name service provider.
Note
Work with your domain name service provider to determine the type of certificate that you need. The certificate can be one of the inexpensive certificates that are offered. However, you should review the documentation and features of higher level security certificates to determine if they better meet your needs.
