Remove a resource type from a failover cluster.

Syntax

Remove-ClusterResourceType [-InputObject <psobject>] [[-Name] <StringCollection>] [-Cluster <string>] [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

A resource type is a class of resource (such as print spooler, physical disk, or network name) that is organized by the failover cluster. After you remove a resource type from a failover cluster, you will not be able to use resources of that type in the cluster.

Parameters

Cluster

Specifies the name of the cluster to run this cmdlet on. If you type "-Cluster ." or omit the parameter, the cmdlet runs on the local cluster.
