Edit Rewrite Map Page
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista
Use the Edit Rewrite Map page to specify mapping entries for a rewrite map. Each entry contains a mapping of an original value to a new value.
UI Element List
The following tables describe the UI elements that are available in Edit Rewrite Map and in the Actions pane.
Features View Elements

Specifies the original value for mapping entry. |

Specifies the new value for mapping entry. |
Actions Pane Elements

Add Mapping Entry |
Opens the Add/Edit Mapping Entry Dialog Box from which you can add a new entry to the rewrite map. |
Edit Map Settings |
Opens the Edit Rewrite Map Dialog from which you can specify the default value for the rewrite map. |
Edit Mapping Entry |
Opens the Add/Edit Mapping Entry Dialog Box from which you can edit the values for mapping entry. This action is available only when a rewrite map is selected from the list on the feature page. |
Remove |
Removes the selected mapping entry. This action is available only when a rewrite map is selected from the list on the feature page. |
