Known Issues

Applies To: Operations Manager 2007 R2

When you monitor a server with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 that is configured for virtualization, the advanced configuration and power interface (ACPI) daemon is disabled by default. Operations Manager will appear to incorrectly report the ACPI daemon in a critical state. This behavior occurs by design.

To prevent the incorrect reporting of the ACPI daemon, disable Microsoft.Linux.SLES.10.Process.Acpi.Monitor.

For more information on disabling a monitor, see How to Disable a Monitor or Rule Using Overrides (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=125661).
