Csapp.ini File Values for Authentication

Commerce Server Site Packager generates the csapp.ini file during the unpacking process. This file is required by both AuthManager and AuthFilter, and it must be located in the site root folder. For information about securing this file, see Csapp.ini File.

AuthManager and AuthFilter read the following values from the csapp.ini file:

Key Name Key Value Usage
SiteName This value must be a valid site name within the Admin database. This value is used to initialize the SiteConfigReadOnly component to retrieve information pertaining to the site.

  • Commerce Server supports site names of 1 to 127 characters only.
AddressKeyName This value must be a valid application name within the site that is defined by the SiteName key. This value is used to retrieve information pertaining to the application within the site defined by the SiteName key.
