You use the Reports module to run reports to analyze user data.

Note
If the Profiles resource is shared by multiple sites in the Data Warehouse, on certain reports individual users will appear to belong to each site sharing the Profile resource. As a result, the grand totals in the reports will be inflated because users will be counted once for each site sharing the Profiles resource in which they are registered.
The following reports are affected:
- Registered Users by Date Registered (dynamic SQL)
- User Days to Register (dynamic SQL)
- User Registration Rate (dynamic SQL)
If the Profiles resource is shared across sites, then disable or ignore the grand totals in these reports.
Distinct Users by Time (Dynamic)
Use the Distinct Users by Time report to determine whether a few users are visiting your site many times or if many users are visiting your site one time. This report displays the number of unique users visiting your site, and how many times your site has been visited for a particular time period. This report correlates the number of distinct users with the number of visits made by each one. The distinct users are calculated for the currently selected time period.
The following table lists the measures that this report contains.

| Distinct Users | A user distinguished as unique during the period of the report. Commerce Server counts the user as a unique user only once. |
| Visits | The number of closed visits to the site during the period of the report. |

| Site | The site for which the visits are reported. |
| Date | The date on which each visit occurred. |
| User Type | The type of user who visited the site. For example, a registered user or an anonymous user. |

New Registered Users (Static)
Use the New Registered Users report to identify new registered users. This data can be used to create special promotional campaigns. Export this report to the List Manager module in Commerce Server Business Desk to target new registered users with online campaigns, such as direct mail promotions.

Registered User Properties (Static)
Use the Registered User Properties report to review information provided by registered users. This data can be used to create special promotional campaigns. Export this report to List Manager to target registered users with online campaigns, such as direct mail promotions.

Registered Users by Date Registered (Dynamic)
Use the Registered Users by Date Registered report to review the registration behavior of your users. This report shows user registration history for your site for a particular time period (year, quarter, month, or day).

User Days to Register (Dynamic)
Use the User Days to Register report to track the average number of days it takes anonymous users to register on your site.

| Average Elapsed Days to Register | The average of the number of days between the date on which each user first visited the site and the date on which each user registered on the site. |

User Registration Rate (Dynamic)
Use the User Registration Rate report to determine how successful you have been in getting anonymous users to register on your site. This report shows the time elapsed from the date users first access the site until the date they register.

User Trends (Dynamic)
Use the User Trends report to determine how successful you have been in attracting repeat users. This report shows the types of users (new and repeat) who visit your site by date.
The following table lists the measures that this report contains.

| Distinct Users | A user distinguished as unique during the period of the report. Commerce Server counts the user as a unique user only once. |
| New Users | The number of users who visited the site for the first time during the report period. |
| Repeat User % | The number of users who visited the site for the second or more times during the report period (repeat users) divided by the number of distinct users. |
| Repeat Users | The number of users who visited the site for the second or more times during the report period. |
