Workflow for Campaign Management

The following figure illustrates a sample scenario for creating, managing, analyzing, and targeting campaigns.

  1. In the Reference Tables module, you specify your content sizes, and add industry codes and page groups. Only perform this step if you need to add or change the tables provided by your site developer.
  2. In the Campaigns Expressions module, create a target expression to specify the users to which you want to deliver the discount, or a catalog expression to specify the products the user must buy for the discount to apply.
  3. In the Campaign Manager module, create a new customer (such as Arbor Shoes), and create a campaign (such as Fall Season Sale), and then add a discount (such as Member Discount).
  4. In the Campaign Manager module, run a report to analyze the effectiveness of your ad campaign.
  5. In the List Manager module, import a mailing list into List Manager.
  6. In the Campaign Manager module, use the list to run a direct mail job to target your users more successfully.
