Deleting Baskets
After a user abandons a basket on your Web site, you can delete that basket from the Commerce Server database by using the Basket Manager module in Commerce Server Business Desk. Generally, you delete a basket because a user either does not check out or does not empty the basket before leaving the site.
To delete a basket
- In Orders, click Basket Manager.
- To find abandoned baskets, in the Find pane, do the following:
Use this To do this Find By Select Date last accessed. Date Select On or Before as your date criterion, and then type a date or select the date from the drop-down calendar. - Click Find Now.
- In the Filtered View list, select the baskets you want to delete, and then click on the toolbar.
- In the Delete confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
The selected baskets are deleted from your Web site.
Caution
- After a basket has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Note
- You must use the Publish Order Codes module to update your site. For more information about publishing order codes, see Publishing Order Codes on Your Web Site.
