Importing Multilingual and Multicurrency Data

Commerce Server Data Warehouse supports the importing of Unicode characters. You can use the Data Warehouse to import profile, campaign, product catalog, and transaction data in any language. The Commerce Server Data Warehouse schema supports the importing of multiple currencies by storing the currency type and the amount separately.

Designating the Import Language

There is no need to designate the import language. The Data Warehouse imports multi-byte Unicode characters and does not distinguish between languages. For example, suppose you create your site in English. A user enters his or her billing data in Japanese characters. The order data for that user is treated the same as order data from a user entered in English.
