Changing the Time Zone and Start Day of the Week for Imported Data

When time data is imported into the Data Warehouse, it is assigned a time zone and start day of the week.

By default, the Data Warehouse inherits the time zone and start day of the week from Microsoft SQL Server. You can also configure the time zone and start day of the week that the Data Warehouse assigns to imported time data.

To change the time zone and start day of the week

  1. Expand Commerce Server Manager, expand Global Resources, right-click Data Warehouse, and then click Properties.

  2. On the Time tab of the Data Warehouse Properties dialog box, do the following:

    Use this To do this
Adjust time zone to Select from the drop-down list the time zone.
Start day of the week Select from the drop-down list the start day of the week.
  3. To save your changes, click OK.

    • The SQL Server start day of the week is used in reports. The start day of the week you set in the Data Warehouse Properties dialog box is used to aggregate data imported from Web log files in weekly intervals.
