Profiling System: Active Directory Data Source Dialog Box
This is the second dialog box is displayed when you use Commerce Server Site Packager to unpack the Supplier AD Solution Site. This dialog box is displayed only when you unpack the Supplier AD Solution Site.
The following table shows the options and functions available in the Profiling System: Active Directory Data Source dialog box.
| Use this | To do this |
|---|---|
| Domain | Type the Windows domain that contains your site. |
| User name | Type a valid Windows domain user name. You must type the user name in one of these formats:
domain\username username@domain |
| Password | Type the domain password for the specified user. |
| Parent URL | Type the location in the directory tree where you want your data to be stored. |
| Use Simple Bind | Select to send the password in clear text. This option is less secure, but is required by some directory services. |
| Execution Script | Execute Visual Basic scripts for creating objects in the directory tree pertaining to this site. |
| Test Connection | Test the validity of the connection to the domain controller. |
