Moving Profile Properties

You can create a hierarchy of property groups to organize your profile properties. After you create your property groups, you use the Profile Definition Designer module to move profile properties into property groups to organize your user and organization information.

To move a profile property

  1. In Profiles, click Profile Definition Designer.

  2. In the Profiles screen, select the profile definition that contains the property you want to edit, and then click Open on the toolbar.

  3. In the Profile: <profile definition> screen, in the Properties list, select the property or property group that you want to move, and then click the Up or Down buttons below the Properties list to move the profile property to a new location.

  4. Click the up and down arrows below the Site term structure list to move the site term or group to a new location.

    • If the property is not visible in the Properties list, expand the property group that contains the property you want to move, and then select the property.
  5. To save the profile properties and return to the Profiles screen, click Save and go back on the toolbar.

The new profile property structure is saved.
