Integrating with BizTalk Server
The Solution Sites for Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 are designed to integrate with Microsoft BizTalk Server in the following two ways:
Import/export of product catalogs
Multi-vendor order form processing
BizTalk Server integration is configured using Commerce Server Manager. These configuration settings are used to conditionally execute code within the Solution Sites that implements the integration with BizTalk Server. The remainder of this section provides some additional details regarding these areas of integration.
This section contains:
Product Catalog Integration. Describes how BizTalk Server can be used to import product catalogs from various vendors.
Order Form Integration. Describes how an order form can be divided into multiple purchase orders (POs) by vendor, and how BizTalk Server can be used to send those POs to their corresponding vendors.
