Single Sign On Support
Single Sign On (SSO) support allows a user who successfully logs on to one site or server, access to other sites and servers without having to log on again. The AuthFilter in Windows Authentication mode provides support for the following, using cookies:
SSO between domains. For more information, see Cookie Sharing.
SSO in a Web farm scenario. For more information, see Web Farms. SSO support in a Web farm is also supported in Custom Authentication mode using cookie sharing.
