Viewing Direct Mailer Job Status

You can check the status of your Direct Mailer jobs to determine if a job is currently running, has been suspended or terminated, or has completed successfully. You can view the status of your Direct Mailer jobs using the command line interface.

To view the status of Direct Mailer jobs using the command line interface

  • At the command line, type DmlRun /list to view all Direct Mailer jobs.

The list of Direct Mailer jobs is displayed.

The following information is displayed for each Direct Mailer job:

  • Job identification number

  • Job status

  • Job description

  • Site name

  • Campaign item identification number

  • Campaign item name

  • Site name, campaign item identification number, and campaign item name are only displayed if they exist for the Direct Mailer job.

The following table lists job status codes.

Code Description
0 The job was created but not initialized.
1 The job was completely defined but not running (Inactive) or the job was terminated.
2 The job completed.
3 The job is running (Active).
4 The job is running but currently suspended (paused, but still Active).
-2 The job was stopped by Direct Mailer due to serious problems or because the error threshold limit was reached.
-3 The job was defined as css_site, but not all the data was available at the run time.
