GlobalConfig.CreateServiceConfig Method (PIA)

Use this method to create an instance of the class specified by the bstrConfigSchemaClass parameter, set the Name property of the instance to the name specified in the bstrServiceName parameter, and load the instance into the site Recordset. This method calls the SaveConfig method.

Parameters

  • bstrResourceName
    A String that contains the new name for the resource configuration object instance.
  • bstrConfigSchemaClass
    A String that contains the resource configuration schema class name.

  • bstrResourceName
    A string that contains the new name for the resource configuration object instance.
  • bstrConfigSchemaClass
    A string that contains the resource configuration schema class name.

Exceptions

This method may throw one of many mapped exceptions or an exception of type COMException. See Standard COM Errors for additional details.

Remarks

The Initialize method must be called before this method can be called.
