About the Directory Migration Toolbox
The Directory Migration Toolbox contains the following components that you use to migrate users from the Site Server 3.0 Membership Directory to the Commerce Server Profiles data store:
Source Code for Migration Components. Provides the source code for the migration components so you can modify them as needed, and provides an example of C++ source code used to migrate a single user profile.
Groups Pre-Population Tool. Pre-populates Active Directory groups in the Profiles data store, if you need to use groups.
Migration ProfileBuilder Tool. Maps attributes in the Membership Directory to attributes in the Profiles data store.
Directory Migration Tool. Migrates profiles from the Membership Directory in batch mode or on-demand mode.
Subgroup Manager. Modifies code that determines where a user is stored in Active Directory. The Subgroup Manager helps you determine group membership.
