Database Connection Strings
The following table shows the options and functions available on the Database Connection Strings dialog box.
Use this | To do this |
Resource | Select the resource on which you want to perform an action, such as changing a database server. |
Modify | Specify a different server or database for a resource. |
Defaults | Return your connection strings to the default settings, which consist of two databases (one for Data Warehouse and one for the other resources) stored locally. |
Copy | Copy the selected resources to the Clipboard. |
Paste | Paste the selected resources from the Clipboard. |
New Database | Create a new database for the selected resource(s). Use this command if you want to put the database on a different computer, or even if you simply want to rename a database. |
