Running an Import DTS Package
If you create an import DTS package using the Data Warehouse Import Wizard, you might choose to save it to SQL Server so you can run it at a later date. Perform the following procedure to run the import package.
To run an import package
Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Commerce Server Manager.
In Commerce Server Manager, expand Microsoft SQL Servers, expand SQL Server Group, and then expand the server on which your Data Warehouse is installed.
Expand Data Transformation Services, and then click Local Packages.
Right-click your package, and then click Execute Package.
Review the Executing Package dialog box for failed tasks.
Note
- If any of your DTS tasks failed, an error message will appear. Click OK to close the error message. For information about troubleshooting the import process, see Troubleshooting the Data Warehouse Import Process.
Click Done to close the Executing Package dialog box.
