Solution Site Features

The Commerce Server Solution Sites incorporate most of the capabilities of Commerce Server 2002. You use the Solution Sites to build working Web sites that you can customize as needed. Most of the basic features needed for creating a commercial Web site are present in the Solution Sites, such as a shopping basket, a checkout procedure, a product catalog, user profiles, and so on. There are also more advanced features, such as prediction and BizTalk Server integration.

For each such feature, this section describes the implementation of that feature in the Solution Sites, divided into separate discussions of the initialization of the feature, and the browse time execution of the feature (that is, when a user is viewing a Web site page incorporating the feature in their browser).
