Overview of a Sample Predictor Deployment

To deploy the Predictor, it is recommended you implement the following configuration:

• Use Site Packager to unpack the site application on the front-end Web servers.
• Install the Data Warehouse and the Predictor service behind the second firewall.
• Build Prediction models on the Data Warehouse computer.
• Copy the models to a file and then move to the Web servers. Or, copy to an external database.
• Secure the Predictor tables, service, and the Model Builder DTS task. For instructions, see Securing a Predictor Deployment.

The following figure show a sample Predictor deployment.
