Marketing Database Tables
The Marketing tables are found in the database referred to by the Campaigns site resource.
| Table Name | Description |
| Ad_item | Represents scheduled advertising content for a Web page, contains data members describing when the advertisement runs and codes linking the advertisement to the products it represents. |
| Campaign | Defines the business process involved in running a marketing campaign for an advertiser. |
| Campaign_item | Represents the content included in a marketing campaign and/or a scheduled advertisement |
| Campaign_item_types | Describes the types of campaign items available in the marketing system. |
| Campaigns_version | Contains schema versioning information. If custom campaign item types are created, they should be registered here. |
| Creative | Contains information on how to display an advertisement or discount. |
| Creative_property | Describes the substitution strings contained in each creative type, with one entry per substitution string per creative type. |
| Creative_property_value | Contains values for creative properties. |
| Creative_size | Describes the size of the slot required to display a given creative on a page. |
| Creative_type | Contains formatting information describing how to display the creative. |
| Creative_type_xref | Determines which creative types (templates) are available for each type of campaign item. |
| Customer | Defines a customer who uses advertising through a Commerce Server 2000 Web site. |
| Dm_item | Describes scheduled direct mailing items such as address and format information. |
| Event_type | Categorizes marketing events. |
| Industry_code | Contains attributes that allow the selection algorithm to prevent showing two ads from the same industry and from different customers on the same page. |
| Order_discount | Represents discounted sale items. The class contains data members describing the items and conditions of the sale. |
| Order_discount_expression | Identifies the eligibility requirement expressions for discounts. |
| Order_discount_misc | For Internal Business Desk use only. |
| Page_group | Represents a group of custom content items used on a Web page for a marketing campaign. |
| Page_group_xref | Cross-references custom Web page content with the Web page or logical set of Web pages that contain the content. |
| Performance_total | Records aggregate counts of events such as clicks and requests for each campaign item. |
| Target | Defines a target for marketing and custom Web content, such as a particular type of user. |
| Target_group | Defines a group of targets for marketing and custom Web content. |
| Target_group_xref | Cross-references a target group with the custom content for the target group. |
