Configuration Data

The EditField HTC requires that its configuration information be passed to it in the form of an XML data-island. This information consists primarily of details about each column to be displayed. For example, the type of the data in the column, minimum and maximum values for validation purposes, and the element name used for the corresponding data in the DataXML data-island.

The configuration XML data-island can contain configuration information for multiple EditFields, using the ID container attribute to identify which individual EditField configuration information should be used for each instance of an EditField HTC.
