Performance of Fulltext Search on Catalogs

In installations that use many catalogs, it may take up to 10 minutes to generate a full-text catalog.

If you have many catalogs (for example, 10,000), and each catalog has 12 or more columns that are full-text indexed, and each with more than 1250 products (that is, rows) in it.

Commerce Server adds each table to a FullTextCatalog (either an existing one or a new one), add the 12 full-text searchable properties, and then starts full-text indexing.
