Configuration Data

The DynamicTable HTC requires that its configuration information be passed to it in the form of an XML data-island. This information consists primarily of details about each column to be displayed. For example, the type of the data in the column, the name to use in the column heading, and the element name used for the corresponding data in the DataXML data-island. In addition, there is some global configuration information, such as whether the New and Remove operations should be available.

For detailed information about the structure of this XML data-island, see DynamicTable Configuration.

For more information about the ways in which an XML document can be included on a page (creating an XML data-island), see XML Data-Islands.
