Information Released by Your Card Provider

Windows CardSpace 2.0 facilitates the interaction between your Information Card provider, which has information about you and your account, and the website that you have chosen to share your identity information with.

When you use your Information Card, CardSpace 2.0 can display the information that your card provider wants to show. The actual information that will be sent might differ from what is shown, because the actual information may contain encoded data strings that are needed for the exchange between the card provider and the website, and that information may not be readable by a human being.

It is the responsibility of your Information Card provider to properly inform you—with the displayed information—concerning the data about you that is being sent. If you have concerns about the data that your card provider is sending, contact the issuer of your card or read the privacy statement of the card provider.
