FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint publishes monitoring data by using a number of different of technologies and APIs. This chapter contains information about monitoring sources and applications that can be used to locate and view this data.

With a few exceptions, the same information is available regardless of which tools and technologies an administrator prefers to use.

The recommended monitoring solution for FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint is Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007 SP1 or R2.
