Ledger allocation basis source (form)

Click General ledger > Setup > Posting > Ledger allocation basis. Select a basis ID, and then click Basis.
Use this form to create an allocation basis source. An allocation rule can have a reference to an allocation basis rule, which defines how and in what proportion the source amounts are distributed to the various destination lines when the allocation rule has a Basis allocation method. An allocation basis rule can be used with many allocation rules.

Select which part of an account to allocate from. You can select Main account or Financial dimension. |
Financial dimension |
Select the financial dimension to allocate from. Note This field is available only when you select Financial dimension in the Field setting field. |
Source criteria |
Select the basis main account. You can enter wildcard characters to select all main accounts, or a specified range or list of main accounts. |
