Specify Destination

Use the Specify Destination page of the Recovery Wizard to copy the database files to a network folder. This page contains the following elements.
Elements
Name | Description |

Destination server (FQDN) |
Specify the destination server name. You must type the fully-qualified domain name of the server. |
Destination folder |
Specify the folder path location on the destination server where the database files will be recovered to. For example, to recover the database files to a folder (for example, E:\Folder1) on the server Server1 specify Server1 as the destination server and Folder1 as the destination folder. Note You cannot specify a UNC path (for example, \servername\sharename) when recovering SQL Server databases as files to a network folder. |
