How to: Reactivate a Member or Collection (Master Data Services)

In Master Data Manager, reactivate a member or collection after it has been deleted.

  • Reactivate a member to restore the member's attributes and its membership in hierarchies and collections.

  • Reactivate a collection to restore the collection and its structure.

To reactivate a member or collection, you must reverse two separate transactions:

  • First, reverse the transaction that deactivated the member or collection.

  • Second, reverse the transaction that changed the Code attribute from a specified value to a 36-character identifier (ID).
