Package.Serialize Method (String)

Serializes the package to the file system.

Parameters

  • packageFileName
    Type: System.String
    Full path and file name specifying where to save the package file.

Remarks

Serialize throws ArgumentNullException if packageFileName is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or empty.

Serialize throws DeploymentException if validation of the package fails.
