Preparing for LAN (Ethernet) Testing

After you install the DTM controller, DTM clients, and DTM Studio, you can monitor the status of the DTM client machines through DTM Studio. The DTM clients are grouped into logical machine pools that the DTM controller monitors. New DTM client machines are automatically put into the default pool.

You must create your own machine pool to hold the DTM client machines for LAN (Ethernet) device testing. Before the LAN(Ethernet) testing can be started, you must drag the DTM client machine from the default pool into your machine pool and wait for its status to change to Ready.

To troubleshoot the NDISTest, attach a debugger to the test machine.
