Using Scheduler

Note  This content applies to the Windows Logo Kit (WLK). For the latest information using the new Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK), see Windows HCK User's Guide on the Windows Hardware Dev Center.

DTM Scheduler is used to run a single job or a group of jobs. Scheduler is accessed through Job Explorer, by right-clicking a job (or group of jobs), and then clicking the shortcut menu when you click a job in the Job Explorer (test cases) query list view.

During scheduling, various constraints and options can be applied to selected jobs. Based on these options, DTM Scheduler creates a result, which is a scheduled instance of a job. Each result generated by the Scheduler is associated with specific information, including the computers on which the job will run, parameters being used, and the Result Collection associated with the result.

Note  A controller must be selected prior to scheduling jobs, because DTM Scheduler cannot schedule across multiple controllers.
