Opalis Integration Server Client

Applies To: Opalis 6.2.2

The Opalis Integration Server Client is the user interface in the Opalis Integration Server product where a user builds, edits, and manages Opalis policies, or workflows, that are deployed to the Opalis Integration Server system. The interface is organized into three core areas.

The area in the left pane shows the folder structure where you can organize workflows in the Opalis Integration Server system. These folders are saved to the central database, the Opalis Integration Server Datastore. You can also edit permissions on folders. There are special folders that allow you to specify global settings that can be used in any workflow in the Opalis Integration Server system. These include:

  • Variables for named Global Values

  • Schedules for setting periods of operation for Opalis policies

  • Counters for performing tracking of activities

Design Workspace

The center pane is the designing workspace where the user designs policies by dragging and configuring objects and links.

Object Palette

The Objects Palette is in the right pane of the Opalis Integration Server Client. It provides the list of reusable activities available to Opalis policies. By dragging objects to the workspace, you can build complex and powerful workflow scenarios. Objects are separated into categories to help you find the appropriate activity for the task that you want to perform.
