Common Criteria EAL2 evaluation of Windows Mobile 6.1

The Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system has been independently evaluated by a licensed commercial evaluation facility against the international standard ISO/IEC 15408:1999, Common Criteria for Information Technology (IT) Security Evaluation.

The Common Criteria permits comparisons between the results of independent security evaluations. It does so by providing a common set of requirements for the security functions of IT products and systems and for assurance measures applied to them during a security evaluation. The evaluation process establishes a level of confidence that the security functions of such products and systems meet these requirements.
