Updates Navigation Button in the System Center Essentials Console

The Updates navigation button displays the Updates Overview pane, which contains information about update management and provides access to related tasks in System Center Essentials 2007.

When you click Updates, you can view the following information:

  • Update deployments status summaries.

  • List of available updates by categories.

  • Properties of a selected update.

  • Update synchronization status.

  • Update management reports.

  • Help on update management.

In the Updates Overview pane, you can also perform the following tasks:

  • Change update management settings.

  • Start a manual synchronization.
