The ACL of the temporary folder couldn't be set because the WebReady Document Viewing Manager doesn't have the permissions to set it. %nThe value of the temporary folder is set by a registry key. If the registry key doesn't exist, the default Microsoft Windows temporary folder will be used. The registry key that controls the temporary folder is named HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange OWA\WebReadyDocumentViewing\TempFolderLocation. %nFor WebReady Document Viewing to function correctly, the Local System account must have full control permissions assigned to the temporary folder that you have configured.%nException message: "%1".

Explanation

The WebReady Document Viewing manager could not access the temporary folder.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Open the registry at the given location and make sure that the value for TempFolderLocation is correct.

  • Make sure that the Local System account has been assigned full control permissions to the temporary folder.

  • Contact a Microsoft Support professional to resolve this issue. To contact a Microsoft Support professional, visit the Exchange Server Solutions Center. In the navigation pane, click Assisted Support Options and use one of the assisted support options to contact a Microsoft Support professional.
