Process %1 (PID=%2). Two servers with the same fully qualified domain name have been detected. Only %3 will be considered and %4 will be ignored. |
Explanation
This Information event indicates that two servers that have the same fully qualified domain name (FQDN) exist on the network. The message text indicates which server is being used and which server is being ignored.
An FQDN is a hierarchical naming format that is used together with the Domain Name System (DNS) process to denote the location of a computer or of resource in the DNS tree hierarchy. For more information about FQDNs and about supported naming structures, see the publicly available RFC 1035 ("Domain names: implementation and specification").
