Explanation

This Error event may be triggered by multiple causes. Similarly, the method by which you resolve this error varies greatly depending on what triggered this event in your Exchange organization. This Error event may be accompanied by MSExchangeSA error event 2035 or MSExchangeAL error events 8325, 8231, and 8357.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Review the System and Application event logs for related events. For example, events that occur immediately before and after this event may provide more information about the root cause of this error.

  • If the Application event log has MSExchangeSA Error event 2035, uninstall the third-party application referenced in the Error event. Exchange 2010 does not support third-party 32-bit applications, and attempting to install them will result in failure because they do not include a 64-bit address generator.

If you cannot resolve this error, or you experience other problems or mail flow interruptions in your Exchange environment after attempting to resolve this error, contact Microsoft Product Support. For information about contacting support, visit the Contact Us page of the Microsoft Help and Support Web site.
