The Microsoft Exchange Replication service has started. |
Explanation
This Information event indicates that the Microsoft Exchange Replication service started and is now running. The Microsoft Exchange Replication service is responsible for replicating data from an active mailbox database copy to one or more passive mailbox database copies. Additionally, the Microsoft Exchange Replication service hosts the Active Manager component. This component is responsible for managing failovers and switchovers in a database availability group (DAG). A standalone Active Manager also runs on Mailbox servers that are not members of a DAG.
This service is installed by default on all servers that have the Mailbox server role installed, and it should be running during normal operations on all Mailbox servers.
For more information about the Microsoft Exchange Replication service in Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, see Managing Mailbox Database Copies.
