Process %1 (PID=%2). DSAccess failed to register an Active Directory shutdown notification with the local server because the local server does not support shutdown notifications. To expedite the shutdown process, manually shut down Exchange services before shutting down the server. |
Explanation
This Information event indicates that DSAccess could not register an Active Directory shutdown notification. An Active Directory shutdown notification causes Microsoft Exchange services that depend on Active Directory to close the LDAP connection to Active Directory. The shutdown time of the Exchange server is minimized when Active Directory shutdown notification is successful.
User Action
To expedite the shutdown process, manually shut down Exchange services before you shut down the server.
Use the command net stop MSExchangeSA /y to stop System Attendant and all its dependent services.
Use the command net stop IISAdmin /y to stop all IIS engines.
Use the command net stop ExIFS to stop the Exchange installable file system (ExIFS) driver.
Use the command net stop MSExchangeSRS to stop SRS.
