Explanation

This Error event indicates that the local Microsoft Exchange server object was not found in Active Directory directory service when it tried to send an e-mail message. Every message that is sent or received by an Exchange server must be categorized on a Hub Transport server before it can be routed and delivered. This event may occur if information about the local Hub Transport server is not found in Active Directory

To resolve this error, follow these steps:

1. Make sure that the Exchange server that logged this event is registered correctly on the DNS server. For more information, see Troubleshooting DNS.

2. Make sure that the Exchange Setup finished without failures. To do this, review the Exchange Setup log files. For more information, see Verify an Exchange 2010 Installation.

3. Review the Application and System log for related events. For example, events that occur immediately before and after this event may provide more information about the cause of this error.
