Performance Testing FIM Service

This section of the guide describes specific performance tests that were conducted on the FIM 2010 R2 Service to provide information technology (IT) planners with example capacity planning data. While the information in this section can be used as an initial reference point, it is important that you conduct testing that is specific to your environment you actually deploy Microsoft® Forefront® Identity Manager (FIM) 2010.

This guide was produced to assist you in capacity planning for your customers, but you should not use it alone to determine the appropriate servers, hardware, or topologies that are required for a FIM 2010 R2 deployment.
