(AUS) Transfer one or more low value assets to a low value pool

Use the Transfer assets to low value pool - value models and Transfer assets to low value pool - depreciation books forms to transfer low-cost and low-value assets to a low-value pool. For more information, see (AUS) About low value pool depreciation.

  1. Click Fixed assets > Periodic > Transfer assets to low value pool - value models.

    –or–

    Click Fixed assets > Periodic > Transfer assets to low value pool - depreciation books.

  2. Select the number of the fixed asset to transfer the low-value asset to.

  3. If you are using the Transfer assets to low value pool - value models form, select the value model to transfer the asset to.

    –or–

    If you are using the Transfer assets to low value pool - depreciation books form, select the depreciation book to transfer the asset to.

  4. Select a low-value pool type to identify the category for the asset.

  5. Select the fixed asset journal that will be used to post the asset transfer transaction.

  6. Select the transaction date, or accept the default date.

  7. If you are using the Transfer assets to low value pool - value models form, select a posting layer and value model to display fixed assets with that information.

  8. Select the check box for the number of each fixed asset to be transferred to a low-value pool.

  9. Click Transfer to transfer the transactions to the fixed asset journal.

  10. Close the form to save your changes.
