Filter and Sort Data in PowerPivot

Looking for help with Power Pivot in Excel 2013? Go to Power Pivot Help on Office.com.

When you are working with tables of data in PowerPivot for Excel, you can filter or sort data either by using the filter controls in the PowerPivot window, or by applying Slicers on a PivotTable or PivotChart in the Excel window. You can even create filters within calculations, to control the data that is used from a column or table of data. Each type of filter works only in its respective window. For example, Slicers have no effect on the data in the PowerPivot window.

The following topics provide more information about how to use these features.
