Create Table Dialog Box in PowerPivot

The Create Table dialog box displays if you click Create Linked Table in the Excel window and do not have a table selected in an Excel worksheet. After you click OK in this dialog box, your selection is formatted as a table, and the linked table is displayed in the PowerPivot window. For more information about linked tables, see Add Data by Using Excel Linked Tables.

  • Where is the data for your table?
    Enter a range of cells for the table, or click the icon to open the Range Selection dialog box.

  • My table has headers
    Clear this checkbox if the selected data does not include headers for the table.
