Remove the Integration Server or Integration Packs

Applies To: Opalis 6.3

This section describes how to remove a single integration pack and an entire Opalis Integration Server installation.

Removing One or More Integration Packs

Perform the first procedure in this chapter to remove one or more integration packs from your Opalis system.

If you are removing the entire Opalis Integration Server installation, you will continue with the rest of the procedures in this chapter.

Note that when you unregister an integration pack, you are not uninstalling it from all clients, action servers, and management servers where it is used. After you unregister an integration pack, you still need to uninstall it from each client, action server, and management server computer using the Microsoft Windows Add/Remove Programs utility.

Warning

Only remove an integration pack if you do not plan to use it again, or if you are instructed to remove it by Technical Support. After unregistering an integration pack, you may not be able to upgrade it.

To unregister and remove an integration pack

  1. Open the Deployment Manager. In the Management Server pane, expand the Management Server and click the Integration Packs item. The list of registered integration packs and hotfixes appears in the middle pane.

  2. Right-click the integration pack that you want to unregister and then click Unregister Integration Pack or Hotfix from the Management Server. The selected item is unregistered.

If you are removing the entire Opalis Integration Server installation, unregister all of the integration packs and hotfixes.

  3. Using the Microsoft Windows Add/Remove Programs utility, remove the unregistered integration packs from each client, action server, and management server computer.

If you are removing the entire Opalis Integration Server installation, remove all of the unregistered integration packs and hotfixes.

If you are only uninstalling integration packs, stop here. If you are removing the entire Opalis Integration Server installation, continue with the next section and procedures.
