Import data about the claims provider published online or on a local network |
When you select this option, you must specify the host name or URL of the server in the claims provider that has published the required URL and certificate data that is necessary to create the claims provider trust. If this option is selected and you have successfully obtained the necessary data, this wizard will provide you with the opportunity to confirm the data values that were obtained before you complete the wizard. |
Federation metadata address (host name or URL) |
Provides a space for you to type a host name of the Federation Service in the claims provider that publishes the federation metadata for the claims provider. |
Import data about the claims provider from a file |
When you select this option, the information that is required to create a claims provider trust is taken from the file that you select in Federation metadata file location. To select a file, click Browse and navigate to its location. We recommend that you first acquire the necessary file from an administrator in the claims provider organization before you select this option. |
Enter claims provider trust data manually |
When you select this option, the remaining pages in this wizard prompt you for the URL, claim, and certificate data that is required to create a claims provider trust in this Federation Service. We recommend that you first acquire the necessary data and certificate files from an administrator in the claims provider before you select this option. |
